DAY 01 - ARRIVAL

Meals

  • Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel in St. Petersburg..
  • Overnight in St. Petersburg.
DAY 02

Meals

  • With a local guide we begin the panoramic visit of this beautiful city crossed by the Neva River and built on 40 islands.
  • The visit includes the Peter and Paul Fortress, origin of the city (entrance included).
  • Include an excursion (guided visit and entrance fees included) to Catherine in Pushkin or Peterhof in Peterhof, of similar characteristics. 
  • Return to St. Petersburg at the end of the afternoon.
  • Free time.
DAY 03

Meals

  • Today,  explore  the heart of St. Petersburg the Hermitage Museum, a fantastic museum with more than 2.5 million works of art from Europe and the Orient, located in which was the main residence of the Czars, the Palace of winter.
  •  Guided tour and tickets included.
  • After the visit, free afternoon or return to the hotel.
DAY 04

Meals

    • At 08:00 AM, journey begins in St. Petersburg with departure. After a scenic drive,  reach Novgorod at 11:00 AM, where we will embark on an exciting guided tour. Novgorod, a historic city of immense cultural and political significance, boasts UNESCO World Heritage status, and we will explore its treasures, including the Kremlin, the old market quarter, and Yaroslav's court.
    • Following the tour, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch.
      • At 2:00 PM, we bid farewell to Novgorod and continue our adventure, arriving at the picturesque Valday region around 4:00 PM. Here, amidst serene rivers and woodlands, we'll visit an ancient monastery nestled on an island within a pristine lake.
      • Leaving Valday at 5:00 PM, we venture onward and reach Tver at 8:00 PM, a city situated along the banks of the Volga River.
      • The day concludes with hotel check-in, where accommodation and supper await. 
      DAY 05

      Meals

      • Journey continues at 8:30 AM from Tver,  depart along picturesque roads that provide glimpses of Russia's rural beauty. En route, we traverse several enchanting lakes, evoking the melodies of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake. A brief stop in KLIN allows us to visit Tchaikovsky's house before we continue our route through the heartland towards the Golden Ring.
      • By 12:30 PM,  arrive in Sergiev Posad, where we will explore the Holy Trinity Monastery, an integral spiritual center of Russia. Following this captivating visit, we indulge in a satisfying lunch included in our itinerary.
      • At 2:00 PM,  depart Sergiev Posad and continue our journey along scenic byways that lead us through renowned Golden Ring cities such as ALEXANDROV, known for its Kremlin of Ivan the Terrible, and YURYEV POLSKIY, a quaint provincial city with a rich historical Kremlin. 
      • Day concludes with arrival in SUZDAL at 5:45 PM. Here, we include admission to the Museum of Wooden Architecture, offering a glimpse into the lives of peasants in their wooden huts and mills.
      • We also visit the Church of the Transfiguration and have the unique opportunity to learn about the craftsmanship behind the famous "Matryoshka" nesting dolls, even trying  painting them. 
      DAY 06

      Meals

      • At approximately 08:30 AM,  embark on our enchanting visit to SUZDAL, often regarded as the most captivating of the Golden Ring cities. With its picturesque domes gracing the skyline, Suzdal exudes the charm of a fairy tale city.
      • The exploration of this enchanting place includes a guided tour, with admission to both the Kremlin and the cathedral. As a special treat, we will also have the opportunity to listen to a mesmerizing bells concert at the Saviour Monastery of St. Euthymius.
      • Leaving Suzdal at 1:00 PM,  journey onwards and reach Vladimir by 1:45 PM. Here,  indulge in a delicious lunch at a typical restaurant with traditional architecture, nestled on the outskirts of the city.
      • In Vladimir, another captivating Golden Ring city, we'll marvel at the grandeur of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Assumption.
      • Journey continues at 3:30 PM as we make our way into the sprawling capital of Russia, Moscow.
      • Finally, at 6:45 PM, we arrive in Moscow, the epicenter of Russia's cultural and political life, marking the culmination of our remarkable Golden Ring adventure.
      DAY 07

      Meals

      • At 9:00 AM, we commence our captivating tour of the Russian capital, a journey that unfolds over approximately three and a half hours.
      • Explore the grand avenues, through elegant shopping districts, and to iconic landmarks, including the Red Square and the Lenin Mausoleum, where we pay our respects. We marvel at the intricate beauty of St. Basil's Cathedral and the solemn grandeur of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour.
      • Our visit extends to the Kremlin, where we explore its historic significance, along with visits to the two principal cathedrals within its walls. If the timing aligns, we will aim to witness the impressive military parade held in Sobornaya Square, although we cannot guarantee its occurrence.
      • After the tour, visitors have the option to either stay in the city center or return to the hotel.
      • The afternoon remains free, offering the opportunity for personal exploration or to partake in optional activities recommended by our guide.
      • These include visits to the Moscow Metro, an exploration of the "Kostroma" Folklore Shore, or an exciting outing to the Moscow Circus. Moscow, with its diverse offerings, ensures a memorable and enriching experience for all.
      DAY 08

      Meals

      • We will learn more about the history of Russia and its capital.
      • We will pass by the university viewpoint, with its fantastic view over the city where newly married couples leave flowers and we will get to know  the Great Patriotic War Museum.
      • Free afternoon.

      • Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
      • Monument entry fees / camera charges / cable car / gondola ride etc.

      TERMS AND CONDITIONS

      • Benchmark will be not liable for any decision by the consulate or Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
      • Maximum 3 adults allowed per room. As a Third person in a Triple room, most of the hotels used roll-away beds and room size may be the same as the Double room. 
      • Additional supplements on account of fuel hikes as and when received would be applicable with immediate effect. 
      • Once an air ticket is issued, a date change penalty will be applicable. Check with our Sales Officer for the applicable charges.
      • The rights to vary, amend, alter, or withdraw any itinerary, departure or excursion rests entirely with the company. Due to the demand of an airline, the in / out points may change. Services, however, will remain unchanged. 
      • In Group Packages, Arrival and Departure Sectors may change due to the availability of flights. Group Size of 20 Passengers and below travelling together Driver cum Guide will be provided. Group Size of 20 Passengers and above travelling together Separate driver and Separate guide will be provided.
      • Itinerary is subject to change due to operational constraints if any. 
      • Indian dinners and local meals are pre-set, and a-la-carte is not possible. 
      • Any damage caused to the hotel rooms/coach during your stay, shall be borne by the concerned passengers. 
      • The company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss of baggage, loss, injury, accident, death, breakdown, or irregularity, which may occur in carrying out the tour arrangements due to weather conditions, strikes, war, the threat of war, quarantine or any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expenses must be borne by the passengers. 
      • The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delays or changes in schedules of train, aeroplane, bus, ship or any other services. 
      • The tour manager and the driver will do their best to get you as close to the monuments as possible because in some city’s coaches are restricted.  
      • On days when certain attractions, sights, monuments, museums, etc. are closed, the Tour Manager reserves the right to amend the Itinerary / cancel the visit. 
      • There are no refunds for any services i.e., meals, sightseeing, etc. Not utilized on your tour. For convenience.
      • The flight change/cancellation fees vary based on airline rules and currency conversion rates. For exact cancellation/change fee, please do call us. 
      • Partly utilized ticket and No-Show tickets cannot be cancelled. 
      • Flight seat Guarantee: - Subject to availability at the time of booking. 
      • Domestic ticket is completely Non-Refundable. 
      • Standard Check-In time at the Hotel is -1200hrs - and Check-Out time is 1100hrs - 1200hrs. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and the hotel might charge you extra for it. 
      • For Hotel change/cancellation fee, vary based on hotel rules and currency conversion rates. For exact cancellation/change fee, please call us. 
      • Children aged 12 years or above years are fully charged by the hotel. 
      • Refunds shall be processed within 20 Working Days, from the date request receipt.
      • Coach used for transfers & sightseeing will be provided only as per itinerary and not at disposal.
