JAPAN TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 1 TOKYO

Meals

  • Welcome to Japan! Transfer by coach (SHUTTLE BUS) to hotel. Meeting with the guide.
  • Late in the afternoon, we will pay a visit to this fascinating country by taking a trip on the metro (tickets included) to the Shinjuku district and see the crowds of people who use this modern and efficient collective transport system. Shinjuku is one of the most important nightlife districts.
  • Return to the hotel by metro with our guide.

JAPAN TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 2 TOKYO

Meals

  • After breakfast in the morning, we take part in a 5-hour trip with our guide to see this amazing city, with its hustle and bustle and extremely modern districts that coexist with quiet, peaceful areas.
  • A brief stop at the Zojoji Temple to take a beautiful photograph of the Tokyo Tower. Pay attention to the hundreds of Jizos, stone traditional protecting deities who guide us on our travels, give power to those who are weak (such as children) and those in dangerous places, and who are dressed including hats, robes, and windmills.
  • Then we head to the junction of Shibuya, a junction that is said to be the most crowded in the world. The Meiji Temple is dedicated to Emperor Meiji, his wife, and their spirits. We continue on our bus along the elegant street of Omotesando.
  • We will edge the most beautiful part of the Imperial Palace and the gardens. Stop to visit the famous Nijubashi Bridge. We will pass through the district of Akihabara, the “electric town” with icons from the popular Japanese Manga and Anime culture, and then see Kokugi Kan, the Sumo stadium, home of this Japanese sport.
  • We will also visit the Buddhist temple of Sensoji, the oldest and most important temple in Tokyo, with its 55-meter-high pagoda.
  • Then we will have some free time to visit the traditional commercial street of Nakamise in the district of Asakusa.
  • Return to the hotel.

JAPAN TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 3 TOKYO - KYOTO

Meals

  • After breakfast, we will transfer to the station where you will board the BULLET TRAIN to Kyoto. Approximately two hours and forty-five kilometers'
  • Later, we will arrive in Kyoto. The city, which housed the Imperial Court and served as Japan's capital from 794 to 1868, is where we spend the entire day. The famous convention limiting greenhouse gas emissions was signed in Kyoto in 1997. During World War II, the city was the only significant Japanese city to escape the bombardments, therefore it still maintains its rich creative past. A visit to one of the city's most significant areas is part of the experience.
  • Then we will visit the magnificent Kinkakuji Temple, the Imperial Palace, the magnificent Shinto shrine of Fushimi Inari, "the golden pavilion,"  its wonderful gardens. Enjoy some free time before going to GION, a bustling traditional district well-known for its geisha. spare time..
  • Over night stay at the hotel.

JAPAN TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 4 KYOTO - NARA - OSAKA

Meals

  • After breakfast, we will depart for NARA and stop at Todaiji, a spectacular Buddhist temple constructed in 752 that features a huge Buddha and allows visitors to take pictures, pet, and feed the roaming deer in the park.
  • Lunch is included.
  • We will visit the Buddhist temple HORYUJI, which is a World Heritage Site and has a seminary, monasteries, and temples. As the oldest Buddhist temple in Japan and one of the oldest wooden structures in the world, its main pagoda temple is a revered place of devotion.
  • Later we continue on and arrive in the evening in OSAKA. The second-largest metropolis in Japan, this contemporary city offers lodging. A vibrant neighborhood with a thriving nightlife is Dotonbori, which we shall explore.
JAPAN TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 5 OSAKA - ENGYO-JI - HIMEJI - OKAYAMA

Meals

  • After breakfast, we will travel to Mount SHOSA, home of the more than 1,000-year-old ENGYO-JI complex of temples, the location of the filming of "The Last Samurai," and its surrounding landscape. travel by cable car.
  • After that, we will visit HIMEJI, where we will have access to its enormous complex that showcases Japanese castle architecture.
  • Lunch is included at a nearby restaurant. As we continue, we stop in OKAYAMA to see Korakuen, one of Japan's most exquisite gardens complete with lakes, waterfalls, and traditional teahouses.
  • Over night stay at the hotel.
JAPAN TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 6 OKAYAMA - KURASHIKI - ITSUKUSHIMA - HIROSHIMA

Meals

  • After breakfast, we depart for KURASHIKI, a city with a historically significant core. It's time to take a stroll through this delightful area with its vintage vibe.
  • Later we continue on our trip to HIROSHIMA, a city that is infamously known for being completely levelled by an atomic bomb in 1945. We'll take a trip past the Peace Memorial, the Bomb Dome, and the spectacular Museum of Peace. After the war, we will travel by ferry to the island "where men and gods live together," where the sanctuary of ITSUKUSHIMA honors the sea guardian and is partially submerged in the water. Time to see the temple, stroll through its quaint core.
  • Dinner is included.
  • Return to our hotel in Hiroshima. 
JAPAN TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 7 HIROSHIMA - MATSUYAMA

Meals

  • After breakfast, we are boarding the ferry to Shikoku Island, where we'll have 2.5 hours of sightseeing the various islands that make up Japan. We'll ride the cable car to reach MATSUYAMA's magnificent castle. Then, we'll go to the renowned Buddhist temple and shrine known as ISHITEJI.
  • Lunch is included.
  • We will go to DOGO ONSEN, a nineteenth-century traditional Japanese bathhouse, in the late afternoon (entry is free).
  • Over night stay at the hotel.
JAPAN TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 8 MATSUYAMA - KOTOHIRA - TAKAMATSU - NARUTO - KOBE

Meals

  • After breakfast, we will depart towards KOTOHIRA, a well-liked pilgrimage site in honor of the God of Sailors and a Shinto shrine. To reach the shrine, which is situated on Mount Zosu, one must ascend 785 stairs.
  • The next stop is RITSURIN in TAKAMATSU, one of Japan's most exquisite gardens.
  • Lunch is included.
  • We next cross a spectacular sea bridge at NARUTO, stopping along the way to admire the structure and walk on its glass floor with the water 45 meter's below us. Our route traverses beautiful farmland and extensive coastal bridges that connect islands.
  • Arrival in KOBE, over night stay at the hotel.
JAPAN TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 9 KOBE - OSAKA - MOUNT KOYA

Meals

  • After breakfast, we will proceed to visit the Kobe Earthquake Memorial Museum, which honors the devastating earthquake that devastated the city in 1995 and its immaculate reconstruction. On specific days, the Sake Museum or a climb up the Kobe Tower may be swapped out for the Earthquake Museum.
  • Then we moving  to Osaka! From here, we'll go to MOUNT KOYA, one of Japan's holiest mountains and the country's principal Shingon Buddhist Centre. This magnificent mountain has 120 shrines and monasteries, making it a popular destination for pilgrims.
  • We will visit the Okuno Mausoleum, a sizable, remote cemetery with more than 200,000 graves.
  • The 1593-built Kongobuji Temple is our next stop. This evening, we're visiting a Buddhist monastery. With the monks, we'll partake in a Zen meditation (Ajikan). Dinner is included (vegetarian food). If you choose to go, there is an early morning religious service at the temple. We consider our stay in the monastery to have been a profound existential experience. The hotel's small, non-bathroom rooms are styled in traditional Japanese way with tatamis. Public restrooms are available.
JAPAN TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 10 MOUNT KOYA - KYOTO

  • Breakfast in Japan served at the shrine. At early light, we will head to KYOTO, where we will have the entire day to ourselves. We'll inform you so you may take advantage of your alone time and explore the most fascinating locations in this lovely city.
JAPAN TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 11 KYOTO - TSUMAGO - MATSUMOTO - NAGANO

Meals

  • After breakfast, we set out for TSUMAGO, passing attractive country scenery on our way. This small village with its wooden houses is one of the prettiest places in Japan.
  • Then we continue to MATSUMOTO, a tourist city, where we will visit the impressive 16th-century castle, known as the “Crow Castle”. Free time to explore this bustling tourist city.
  • We continue to NAGANO

JAPAN TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 12 NAGANO - MONKEY PARK - KASATSU - IKAHO

Meals

  • After breakfast in NAGANO, we will see the Zenko-Ji, a place of pilgrimage with the first Buddhist image in Japan. Our travellers will be included in the Gomakuyo ceremony to bring luck.
  • After we will travel to the beautiful Japanese Alps and in the mountains, we will go to the JIGOKUDANI Monkey Park, where we will include lunch and stroll amidst its forests with its rivers and spa waters where colonies of Japanese macaques live and bathe.
  • Later we visit a very beautiful high mountain scenery (we go up to 2,172 metres), passing semi-active volcanoes. KUSATSU, an attractive spa town, is the main square full of life.
  • We will include attendance at a Yumomi show, with its actresses and singing telling us about the traditional method used to cool the spa waters. We follow this with a walk in the city park which has the open-air Onsen.
  • Then on to IKAHO, a picturesque spa town where we will stroll in its ancient centre with its staircase streets.
  • We will stay at a RYOKAN, a Japanese-style hotel where we will continue to enjoy its baths.

  • NB: In the autumn, depending on the amount of fruit in the mountains, the movement of the monkeys is unpredictable. If the macaques do not come down to the park, they may be closed. The visit to Kusatsu and the Yumoni show are cancelled due to the weather from November to April.
JAPAN TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 13 IKAHO - NIKKO - TOKYO

  • After breakfast, we continue our way to NIKKO, and in this fantastic town, we will visit the impressive Nikko-Toshogu Temple with its room with the sound of a dragon.
  • We will also see the Taiyuinbyo mausoleum, an impressive place full of peace. After this a stroll by the river in Kanmangafuchi, Hundreds of Jizos watch us! We will have free time in the center before leaving for TOKYO once more.
  • Arrival in Tokyo at around 18.30 in the evening.
  • End of our services.

  • Benchmark will be not liable for any decision by the consulate or Immigration and Customs Enforcement  
  • Maximum 3 adults allowed per room. As a Third person in a Triple room, most of the hotels used roll-away beds and room size may be the same as the Double room. 
  • Additional supplements on account of fuel hikes as and when received would be applicable with immediate effect. 
  • Once an air ticket is issued, date change penalty will be applicable. Check with our Sales Officer for the applicable charges.
  • The rights to vary, amend, alter or withdraw any itinerary, departure or excursion rests entirely with the company. Due to demand of a airline the in / out points may change. Services however, will remain unchanged. 
  • In Group Packages, Arrival and Departure Sectors may change due to availability of flights. Group Size of 20 Passengers and below travelling together Driver cum Guide will be provided. Group Size of 20 Passengers and above travelling together Separate driver and Separate guide will be provided
  • Itinerary is subject to change due to operational constraints if any 
  • Indian dinners and local meals are pre -set and a-la carte is not possible.
  • Any damage caused to the hotel rooms / coach during your stay, shall be borne by the concerned passengers.
  • The company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss of baggage, loss, injury, accident, death, break - down or irregularity, which may occur in carrying out the tour arrangements due to weather conditions, strikes, war, threat of war, quarantine or any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expenses must be borne by the passengers.
  • The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in schedules of train, aero plane, bus, Ship or any other services.
  • The tour manager and the driver will do their best to get you as close to the monuments as possible, because in some Cities coaches are restricted. 
  • On days when certain attractions, sights, monuments, museums, etc. are closed, the Tour Manager reserves the right to amend the Itinerary / cancel the visit.
  • There are no refunds for any services i.e. meals, sightseeing, etc not utilized on your tour. For the convenience.
  • The flight change/cancellation fees vary based on airline rules and currency conversion rates. For exact cancellation/change fee, please do call us. 
  • Partly utilized ticket and No-Show tickets cannot be cancelled. 
  • Flight seat Guarantee: - Subject to availability at the time of booking. 
  • Domestic ticket is completely Non-Refundable. 
  • Standard Check-In time at the Hotel is -1600hrs - and Check-Out time is 1000hrs - 1200hrs. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and the hotel might charge you extra for it. 
  • For Hotel change/cancellation fee, vary based on hotel rules and currency conversion rates. For exact cancellation/change fee, please call us. 
  • Children aged 12 years or above years are fully charged by the hotel. 
  • Refunds shall be within 20 Working Days, from the date request receipt.
  • Coach used for transfers processed & sightseeing will be provided only as per itinerary and not at disposal.
  • Please note the rooms in Europe is Standard room and its very small.

  • BENCHMARK shall confirm the booking against the payment policy listed below.  Payments can be made through the following modes:
  • Via online payment gateway.
  • Cheque / Demand Draft – To be drawn in favor of “Benchmark Incentive & Leisure Travels Pvt Ltd.” payable at Bangalore.
  • NEFT/RTGS – The Bank details are listed below for Bank transfers • Credit Card – There will be additional 2.5% tax on total billing amount.

  • All payments towards the tour cost must be made by the client to the company in accordance with the procedure and time frame mentioned herein below 


    CANCELLATION POLICY 
  • All services such as Airline seats / Hotel accommodation / ground transportation etc. for group tours are pre-blocked well in advance. We are still liable to pay to all our suppliers / vendors the agreed charges including penalties, if these services are released / cancelled within the below mentioned time frame. If circumstances make you cancel the Tour, the cancellation must be intimated to us in writing.
