Popularly known as the Devbhumi ­– "Land of the Gods", Himachal Pradesh is a beautiful hill state in India, nestles in north-west region of western Himalayas. The state is landlocked with the Tibetan plateau to the east, Jammu and Kashmir to the north, and the Punjab to the west. However, the state stands apart from its neighbours in terms of its sheer topographic diversity and breathtaking pristine natural beauty.

DAY 1: DELHI - SHIMLA (330 KM/ APPROX 9 HOUR DRIVE)

Drive to Shimla on arrival at the Delhi airport or Delhi railway station (on your own). Upon reaching Shimla, check into your hotel. Spend rest of the evening at leisure.

DAY 2: EXCURSION TO KUFRI (20 KM)

Go on a half-day excursion to Kufri, famous for its trekking and hiking trails. You can also visit Indira Tourist Park from where you get a panoramic view of the locations around. Enjoy a pony or a yak ride (on direct payment basis) around the park. After returning to Shimla, spend the rest of the day at leisure to relax or explore the local markets as you stroll on Mall road.

DAY 3: SHIMLA - MANALI (272 KM/ APPROX 7 HOUR DRIVE)

Enjoy your drive past the banks of the River Beas to Manali today. On arrival in Manali, check into your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure.

DAY 4: EXCURSION TO ROHATANG PASS /SNOW POINT

This morning, proceed on a day excursion to the Rohtang Pass. If roads to Rohtang Pass are closed, then visit Snow Point where ponies / horses can be hired (on direct payment basis). Enjoy rest rest of the day at leisure to explore this picturesque town on your own.

DAY 5: MANALI

During your city tour today, visit the Hadimba Temple and the Tibetan Monastery which houses several images of Lord Buddha and Tankha paintings. Spend evening at leisure to relax or stroll and shop at the Mall road.

DAY 6: MANALI - DHARAMSHALA (235 KMS/ APPROX. 7 HOUR DRIVE)

Today, your picturesque journey continues further to Dharamshala. It is the principal township of Kangra district, which overlooks the wide spread of the plains dotted with pine and deodar forests. On arrival, check into your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure.

DAY 7: DHARAMSHALA

Visit some of the important places of Dharamshala like St. Johns Church and Mcleodganj - the residence of His Holiness Dalai Lama and the Tibetan market.

DAY 08: DHARAMSHALA - DALHOUSIE (145 KMS/ APPROX. 4.5 HOUR DRIVE)

Today drive to Dalhousie. A small hill station, which still retains its old British charm. It's marvellous forest trails overlook vistas of wooded hills, waterfalls, spring and rivulets. On arrival in Dalhousie, check into your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Martyr's Memorial at Panchpulla; en route visit Satdhara, said to contain mica and medicinal properties.

DAY 9: EXCURSION TO KHAJJIAR (23 KMS / APPROX 1 HOUR DRIVE)

Drive to Khajjiar, a scenic spot set amidst a backdrop of dense pines, deodars and lush green meadows. Khajjiar is exquisitely nestled down in the foothills of the imposing Dhauladhar ranges of the western Himalayas, providing a panoramic and breathtaking view to the visitors.

DAY 10: DALHOUSIE -CHANDIGARH (300 km/8 hrs)

Post breakfast, drive to Chandigarh. Take an optional tour to Rock Garden/Sukhna Lake.

CHANDIGARH -DELHI (235km/4 hrs)

On time transfer to Delhi airport to board flight to onward journey.
